SECTION 01
Who we are
ClientGo LLC ("ClientGo", "we", "us") runs ClientGo, a US business-to-business lead exchange for home services. This policy covers https://client-go.com, our iPhone app and our future Android app.
Contact: contact@client-go.com.
SECTION 02
What we collect
From you, as a member:
- Account: name, email, password and role.
- Business: business name, states, services and time zone.
- Activity: leads, requests and notes, commission terms, assignments, job updates, blocks, and sale, payment and settlement records. We also log who did what.
- Verification: business and lead-source details you send us for review.
- Settings: your email and notification choices.
About homeowners, when a lead provider enters a lead or imports it from a connected form or tool:
- Name, phone, email and service address.
- Job details, such as service, description, timing, instructions, lead source and permission notes.
- A coded fingerprint of phone, ZIP code and service, used only to spot duplicate leads.
From your device:
- Cookies. See "Cookies and browser storage" below.
- IP address and browser type. Our database stores only a scrambled form of your IP address, used to limit abuse.
- A sign-in fingerprint: a scrambled code made from your browser details and IP address. It lets us email you when you sign in from a new device.
- A push token, if you allow notifications in the iPhone app.
From forms, support and reports:
- Contact and participation forms: name, email, phone, business details and your message.
- Support messages and reports: what you write, plus your name and email.
- Email records: who we emailed, what we sent and whether it was delivered.
SECTION 03
How we use information
- Run the exchange: accounts, showing leads to matching technicians, requests, assignments and job records.
- Send emails, in-app notices and push notifications about your account and jobs.
- Keep ClientGo secure: sign-in checks, new-device alerts, rate limits, and stopping fraud and abuse.
- Answer support messages, review reports and check verification details.
- Meet legal duties, enforce our Terms and protect our rights and others' rights.
We do not show ads, and our website and app use no third-party analytics or ad tools. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted ads. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. In the past 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information.
SECTION 04
Who receives information
Other businesses in the exchange:
- Before assignment, technicians who cover a lead's state and service see a preview only. It shows the service, area, ZIP code, timing, a short summary and commission terms. It never shows the homeowner's name, phone, email or street address.
- When a provider assigns a lead, only that technician's business gets the homeowner's name, phone, email, address and job notes. It sees them in the app and gets the name, phone and address by email.
- If the provider ends the assignment, the technician loses access in the app. Details already emailed stay in their inbox.
- Requests, job updates and sale, payment and settlement records go only to the other business on that job.
- Businesses see each other by an alias code, not by name.
Our service providers, which get only what they need to do their job for us:
- Vercel hosts our website and servers. It handles every request, including your IP address and browser details.
- Supabase hosts our database.
- Resend sends our emails. It gets the recipient, subject and message.
- OpenAI reads pasted notes, only if you opt in (see below).
- Apple delivers push notifications to the iPhone app. It gets your push token and the notification text. The text is a short summary, like an email subject. It never includes the homeowner's name, phone or address. Google will do this for our Android app.
These providers may use your information only to provide their services to us. They must keep it secure.
Maps. Your browser contacts these public services directly. They see your IP address and browser details. Their own privacy policies apply.
- OpenFreeMap sends the map images. It sees which map areas you view.
- Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) places leads whose full address you can see. It gets the street address, city, state and ZIP. It does not get names, phone numbers or emails.
- Google Maps opens with an address if you tap a directions link.
Legal and safety. We may share information when the law requires it, or to protect people, property or our rights.
Business transfers. If ClientGo is merged or sold, information may pass to the new owner. This policy will still apply to it.
SECTION 05
OpenAI and pasted notes
The paste page has a box: "Let OpenAI read my note." It is off unless you tick it.
- Box off: your note is read in your browser. It is not sent to us or to OpenAI.
- Box on: our servers send the text of your note to OpenAI to draft lead cards. The text may include homeowner names, phone numbers, emails and addresses.
- You check and edit every card before you publish it.
- You can untick the box at any time. Your choice is saved in your browser.
SECTION 06
Homeowner information
Homeowners do not use ClientGo. Lead providers enter their details.
- Providers must have the homeowner's permission to share their details through ClientGo. That includes our service providers and the assigned technician.
- Technicians may use those details only for the assigned job.
- We do not call, text or email homeowners.
Homeowners: to see or delete your details, email contact@client-go.com. We will delete them where we can. We may keep records that an assigned job needs or the law requires. We may also pass your request to the business that entered your details.
SECTION 07
How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is open. We keep all other information, including homeowner details and contact-form messages, as long as we need it for:
- Running the exchange.
- Records the other business on a job relies on.
- Disputes, security and legal duties.
To delete your account, sign in, open Account, choose Delete account and enter your password. This works in the app and on the web. The steps are also at https://client-go.com/delete-account. You can also email contact@client-go.com. Deletion cannot be undone.
When you delete your account, we:
- Remove your name, email and password from the account.
- Delete your sign-in sessions, device records, push tokens, notification settings and unsent notifications.
- Delete homeowner details on your leads that were never assigned.
- Close your open leads and withdraw your pending requests.
- Rename your business "Deleted account".
Deletion does not switch off forms or tools that send leads to your account. Turn them off in the tool first, or email us and we will disconnect them.
We keep:
- Assigned jobs, including the homeowner details the other business needs.
- Other lead details, such as service, area and description.
- Job, sale, payment and settlement records.
- Accepted terms, activity logs and audit records. Older entries may still show your name.
- Records of emails and notifications we sent you.
- Support messages, reports, form entries and verification details you sent us.
SECTION 08
How we protect information
- Our site and app use HTTPS encryption.
- Passwords, sign-in sessions and import keys are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
- Sign-in cookies cannot be read by page scripts or sent from other sites.
- Homeowner contact details are stored apart from lead previews and released only on assignment.
- Access checks limit each business to its own records and shared jobs.
No system is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee security. Keep your password private. If you think your account is at risk, email contact@client-go.com. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
SECTION 09
Your choices and rights
- Emails: to stop new-lead alerts or product news, email contact@client-go.com and we will turn them off. Account, security and job emails continue while you have an account.
- Push: turn notifications off in your iPhone Settings. Signing out removes your push token from our records.
- OpenAI: untick the box on the paste page.
- Profile: change your name and business name in Account. To change your email, contact us.
You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Email contact@client-go.com. We may need to confirm who you are, usually through your account email. Someone you authorize can ask for you. We respond within the time the law requires.
We give these rights to everyone, whatever state you live in. Your state's law may give you more, and we will honor them. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
To appeal a decision, email contact@client-go.com with "Appeal" in the subject. If you disagree with our appeal decision, you can contact your state attorney general.
SECTION 10
Children
ClientGo is for businesses and people 18 or older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we will delete it. If you think a child gave us information, email contact@client-go.com.
SECTION 11
Cookies and browser storage
We use only the cookies ClientGo needs to work:
- Sign-in cookie: keeps you signed in, for up to 7 days.
- Setup cookie: remembers your role and states while you sign up, for up to 7 days.
- Workspace cookie: links your browser to your workspace, for up to 1 day.
Your browser also saves your OpenAI choice and map points for addresses. If your session ends, it keeps your page and unfinished lead form until you sign back in. Most of these clear when you close the tab.
We do not use advertising or third-party cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but then you cannot sign in.
SECTION 12
Where we process information
We and our providers process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
SECTION 13
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
